Nae + Alan
Nae and Alan’s Sunnyside Conservatory wedding was the perfect solution to San Francisco’s unpredictable chill and fog. Warm under glass in the beautiful dome building, while the sun went in and out of the fog, guests could experience something as near to nature as anyone could wish during the chilly and unpredictable weather of the city. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone planning a small to medium sized wedding in San Francisco.
Nae and Alan are part of a Vipassana meditation community and chose to support people in Myanmar with Kiva loans (Two Irises puts a portion of every deposit on wedding photography into Kiva loans) as a country associated with this practice. On their wedding day they were surrounded by many friends from their meditation circle. It was a beautiful day and so peaceful and earnest, as you might expect from couple whose very meeting centered on their commitment to meditation.
I discovered the amazing catering team (and floral design!) at Fogcutter.

Aptly named, catering and floral design by Fogcutter. I cannot offer enough praise for this delightful, smiling team! My fan mail to Fogcutter via Instagram:
@fogcutter_sf catering is one to know about! This team worked outdoors in the San Francisco fog and no one complained. I’ve heard many vendors out of earshot of the wedding guests grumble about this or that, naturally. But this catering team has gratitude through and through. Here is the platter for bride and groom at their table. #sanfrancisco #wedding #catering #goodpeople #love #gratitude #food #brideandgroomtable #celebrationsbykiyoe
