Auberge du Soleil Wedding Proposal

Jorge and Stephanie travelled across the country (from Florida and Virginia, respectively) to visit the beautiful Napa Valley. This evening, they were to dine at the award-winning, Michelin-rated Auberge du Soleil in Rutherford. Stephanie suspected there might be a proposal on this trip but at this particular moment, when they got the dinner reservation wrong (wink wink) and they were sent out with a map to enjoy the property, all she could think was “I am going to have to walk back up these stairs.” Through her private grumbling she followed the steps that led to a picnic table set with candles, champagne and cheeses where Jorge got down on one knee. She was genuinely surprised, and over the moon!
